I just finished this one its ready to ship it has a 10" blade OAL 15" Koa domed SS Pin. I made a new stand for my wet stones today it worked great. the knife has a slight convex on one side to help release the food I truly enjoyed making this knife.gck1.jpggck2.jpggck3.jpggck4.jpg

Amazing work, sir. I cut my teeth on kitchen knife handles thus got the opportunity to play with everything from Tojiro's to Shigifusa's and yours looks on par with the higher end of the spectrum.

What are the pecs on the blade if might ask?

David, Killer steel and the Koa one of my favorite. You continue with these mad skills pal.

Thanks for sharing

Dave, you NEVER disappoint with your creations. The damascus is amazing and I love koa too. You're like a damascus mad scientist. :) ;)

Your work is truly inspiring (and sometimes so good it makes me want to quit making knives). Keep it up.

Well said!!!

Thanks Folks John Thanks for the laugh I enjoy seeing your work too. Bing it looks like you made it home safe from Little rock Good to see you there. as for the specs lets see its 10" blade OAL is 15" 2-1/8 at the heel 3/32 at the spine I left my Mic at the shop so I am using a tape. it is very light .

Another great job Dave

I handled a couple of these kitchen knives at LR and they are lighter and thinner than you would think - which to me is perfect !

The very slight convex on the back side (for a righty) is just barely perceptible, but will certainly help with slicing "stickier" items...

Thanks again folks Chuck I will have something very much like this at the seattle show I am going to try to have 3 kitchen knives and 3 bowie knives, the blades are done for all these knives so just heat treating and handles.

I really like this David, very much. Great damascus, killer package all over. Really looking forward to meeting you and seeing some of your work at Blade this year if you are attending.
Cheers Keith

I received the knife yesterday from Mr. Lisch and all I can say is that she performs just as well as she looks, which isn't always easy with kitchen knives. Well played Mr. Lisch!
