damascus hunter w/stag

So here's one i just finished. The blade is w1, 1084, and nickle. I made the lanyard bead all the fittings from 1084 and nickle. The spacer is nickle silver, and the handle is sambar stag.

although it is probably too pretty to be a user, I am curious how does the steel perform with the nickle added? stunning knife

nickle dosent harden, that's why the bands are so thin, and before twisting i added the thicker w1 pieces. thats the wide bands of black you see.

i wouldnt go chopping rocks with it, but it'll do what a knife is made to do .....cut, anything farther than that, and you'd probably be using the wrong tool.... it's not a prybar
