I bought the wood at the Blade show 2 years ago and kind of forgot about it. It is funny what you will find in the shop when you go looking:)

Point to Guard 5 & 3/8"
10 & 1/2" over all length.
Brazilian Rose wood burl handle.

A good looking knife and superb photos to show it. Masterfully presented!

I LOVE the plain guard separating the busy handles. Perfecto.

Thanks Guy's,
Coop a neat thing I did on the guard is the extreme finishes. I wish I knew how to get a good picture of it.
The profile of the guard is a crisp and clean 400 grit.
The finger side is a Mirror polish.
The blade side is 600 grit.
A MasterSmith once told me to mix up the finishes to add contrast.
It was fun keeping the 400 grit on the guard and go to 2k grit on the rose wood.

All I gotta say is WOW! The handle is spectacular and the lighting makes the steel look slightly green. And to back it up, there's a nice piece of wood behind the prominent beautiful things.

Wow Dave, I've noticed that whenever you get snowed in, something really nice pops out of your shop. I really like this one.

Thanks for your Comments.
Hi Dozier,
Wendy and I got a Smile on our face with your comment:)

Hi Kevin,
When I am working at home and it snows the commute isn't bad. I just have to make sure that the driveway is clear before Wendy get's home.
This is kind of interesting. I work harder than ever at my part time job to get 3 day's of work done in 2 day's. This is in order to get 3 day's of working time in my shop and try to make it 5 day's worth of productivity.
Beating My Head against the wall and LOVING IT.:D
