Just finished this this moring, the blade has been ground and heat treated, laying on my bench for a month or so, just waiting for me to do something with it. Well while doing heat treat on a couple of others I got to playing with it, what do you think?

That's a beauty! What kind of handle material did you use? It's really eye-catching.

Thanks, it's stabilized crotch birch, got a couple of blocks from Rade Hawkins with my tomahawk drift. The spacer is Honey horn with nickle silver gaurd.

Will, nice knife, very comfortable and competent looking. I like your blade, that's a very nice profile.

Ummm... All around awesome?
(edited to elaborate.)
That wood is stunning. The spacer sets it off well, and the damascus has an impressive contrast. It's nice to see such beautiful materials used in such an obviously useful piece.

Will Its a great knife. Good looking lines and beautiful handle and guard. Looks to be very comfortable and useable. Nice work.

mmm... beef gravy....

Will: That is a nice knife. It looks like you are on the scent of the natural knife. thanks for sharing.
