Here's one fresh off the bench.

Blade: Length: 4.5"
OAL: 9.25"
Blade: Indian George cannister damascus, 1084, nickle, and chainsaw chain
Fittings: bronze
Handle: Arizona Desert Ironwood.

This was a fun knife. I don't work with woods a lot these days, but this ironwood was especially fine grade. Buttery and dense, it worked very well.

The bronze fittings were a lot of fun too. It's been ages since I have done any bronze, and I think this one came out especially-well. The balance-point for the knife is right between the index and middle finger. Feels very good in the hand. Here's a pic of the pommel:

Here's a close-up of IG's damascus.

Nice knife, Jeff! The materials selection makes it feel "warm" to me. What specific variety of bronze is that, please?

Is the pommel turned one-piece or is that a separate nut on the end?
Me likey dat..... :)

Looks great Jeff !! Glad to see you've been spending time on some knives. How's it feel? Not the knife, but making it :)

The bronze is alloy 932, Mike. The pommel was turned as one piece on the lathe.

Feels pretty good getting back in the swing, Mark. Scares the hell out of me. ;)

Nice Job Jeff. Makes me want to go and get some bronze! That pommel rocks too... I also like the file work and the shape of the blade........OK I just like the whole damm thing :D

Jeff! Man that's a sweet knife; all my triggers popped at once. :D I really like the textured pommel and the low guards. I could see myself making that and trying to keep it all for me! It's nice to see you getting back into the craft, I've missed seeing what you can do. Thanks for sharing,

That is great Jeff. I love the materials. I'm a bronze alloy man. I like brass but, hate to polish it. The bronze on my "Goat Knife" only needs to be polished once a year. The damascus and Ironwood are great. These are my favorite materials and you did a great job with them.

Jeff posted a knife  COOL :D
now lets see some stuff coming from you now that you're out of the closet :)

Nice looking piece Jeff..
is that some stimpling on the pommel I see ? :)
