Here's a little bowie style hunter I just finished. I thought I'd show this one since I don't ever make anything with damascus. The steel is 1080/15n20 and was made by my friend and fellow knifemaker Bill Stuart. The guard is wrought iron and the handle is walnut. The blade is 4 1/2" and overall is 9". Thanks for looking.

Nick, It's not spoken for but it's not for sale yet. I'm trying to make knives for an upcoming knife show in March. It will be my first ever knife show. Thanks.

Ray that is a nice hunter will this be on your table at your first knife show? I am betting you will have a nice batch of knives to pick from fixed blades and folders .

Nice choice of materials! I love the elegant simplicity. You really nailed it Ray!

Wow, that is gorgeous! What knife show will it be at? Isn't the Oregon show in March? If so, it might have to be mine! All miiiine! Muwahaha! Probably not though:(

This is the kind of knife that makes me grin from ear to ear.....
Outstanding materials and workmanship that at first glance you don't notice and maybe even say meh...to yourself.
Then you look again....and again, and you realise it's seeming understatement is it's true beauty.

Very classy and well done!

Lovely deep colours.

Looks like a great little package. The pattern of the damascus is also very nice....not gaudy like I find many of them to be.

This will be a great show piece....but awesome user for some lucky soul!

Well done and best wishes for the show.

Looks GREAT Ray. The patina on the wrought iron guard compliments the blade well, and the walnut gives the knife a nice overall look to it.
