This is my first ladder pattern damascus integral and of course it had to be a little more difficult than usual using mammoth:D. The knife consists of 300 layers of 1084 and 15N20. The blade is 10 1/4" long and the OAL is 15 1/4" with a blade height of 1 3/4". The scales are mammoth and held together with domed NS pins.

Hope you like it.

that is one sexy beast! i love the integral's they are such a clean looking knife design, you did this one just right!

That is a beautiful knife Mike; I like the overall design and the small pins accent the mammoth nicely.

Super Job on this. I usually gravitate towards pocket knives, but this one grabbed me.

I got to hold this one at the ABS hammer in in Calif just a few days ago and man this knife is sweet it feels so good in the hand and the lines are so crisp. the pics are ok but what a treat it is to hold. Nice job Mike.

That is just Awesome. Mike makes some of the tightest and cleanest ladder I have seen. That dark contrast is really cool too:) Nice piece of ivory as well. Is that going to Boise? I see another plaque (or3) in your future.

Terrific job Mike. Beautiful ladder and crisp, lean lines - sweet mammoth, too. I look forward to that one making a northern journey.

wow.... clean and simple. What a sweet transition from the steel to mammoth. ughh.. I want this knife.

Oh my, that is really nice. Your ladder always looks so very nice. I really wish I could have gone to the Visalia hammer-in, but it just wasn't to be this year.
I am working on my first ladder pattern in a fighter right now and your damascus is an inspiration. Well done.

Another great knife, Mike. I will echo some of the other comments about the wonderfully tight and uniform ladder pattern, but would also like to tip my hat to the beautiful symmetry and flow that you captured in the plunge cut / choil area. This is a design element that, for me, really makes an integral look *right* when done correctly, but not every maker gives this detail its proper attention. You clearly did, and that, along with all the other fine attributes of this knife, puts this integral on the very top shelf.
