This knife is made with some of my favorite materials:

The blade made by Conny Persson is very "clean" looking damscus (15N20/20C).
The handle is made with Desert Ironwood, mammoth ivory, pewter and bronze.
The sheath has welts and the base for the "button" in pewter.

When designing this handle I wanted to see how far I could take this "angular" look.
It took more work than expected and it is a lot harder that it looks to do :| (so that may be the answer  )
Please let me know what you think.

This is a knife of my dreams

Welcome Dachshund! You'll see a lot of gorgeous knives here, but I admit, this one's hard to top. Absolutely Stunning Magnus.

Wow, this is one of the most beautiful knives if not the most I've seen on BF. Absolutely gorgeous! And I'm sure I can't afford it. :D

Thank you very much guys..., I don`t know what to say.
Very appreciated comments, you are too kind.

I am proud to say that this knife won the "Open class" at the 2006 Swedish Knifemaking competition.

Thanks again all!

Who did the sheath?

I made it myself.

I allways try to design the sheath as a part of the whole package.
I strive to make the sheath match every individual knife in its own unique way.
For me the sheath is as important as the knife.

I can imagine the competition must have been pretty good but that is one of the best looking knife/sheaths work I have ever seen. I wish I could do work like that.

Green with envy at your skill.

This is one of those times when you see the picture, the first thing that comes to mind is "Oh, My GOD! That's gorgeous!"

Thanks for sharing,

This is very cool , the sheath and carving are over the top.

That may be the most beautiful knife I've ever seen. The wood and ivory are stunning! Just beautiful lines and detail work from top to bottom.
