Hello All,

I was wondering if someone can point me towards a maker that does a good job making Damascus Karambits? Key factors in selection are good work and just as importantly reliable service. Asking for a friend... no really I promise! A friend asked me about this and I didn't really know who the go to person or persons are in that space!

Thanks!

Ebay and get a Pakistan custom?

I mean it's a karambit. You use it to murder people or wave around. So good enough probably is good enough.

Otherwise valiant co knives probably do a traditional one.

Lol, sounds about right. Not sure why the friend wants a "quality" karambit but there you have it. Ahh well.

There's nothing wrong with wanting a Damascus karambit. I'll happily make this knife for your friend as long as he doesn't mind me grabbing the Damascus from a material supplier rather than forging it myself.

A karambit is a beautiful design to look at, not to mention a perfectly viable self defense tool, in jurisdictions where it will not get a person locked it. If he is asking for one made from Damascus steel, he probably wants it for the aesthetic value, rather than for self defense, otherwise he would probably be smarter to get one in AEB-L.
