LOL! I wish I owned that one. It was on ebay, seller was muskeen. Britain. Sold for $700. I bid $650 and lost. Kicking myself still.

I posted that great old budhume with the "pools and eyes" damascus pattern before, but here are a few more with "watered" steel. The middle piece is mechanical damascus and from around 1870. Sorry for the poor photos...it's really hard to capture the subtle patterns.
