Damascus/Maple letter opener w/ engraved handle

Here's a letter opener my brother-in-law asked me to make for my sister's birthday. I got the wood from him quite a while ago.

The engraving's a little more rushed then I'd like. Of coarse I couldn't get to it till the last minute and spent two days engraving the whole knife.

That is beautifully designed knife! I'm sure your sister will enjoy it! I think the engravings look awesome BTW. Gives character.

what a weird little knife! It has a great character about it, nicely done.
