Damascus ,mini Alpha-Hunter

Does Buck make a mini Alpha-Hunter in Damascus steel?
Is it a custom shop knife or what?

Hi Hawkeye,

It is a Bob Timberlake custom chip flint and not Damascus. Sorry I thought that there maybe was a 196 in Damascus and was waiting for someone to reply. I don't think Buck has had any Damascus steel in house to make any 196 Mini Alphas with that steel yet. These Timberlake's were sold by Bass Pro Shops. I do like the Mini Alpha and have a few in my collection.

That top one is another Bass Pro Shop knife, it's stag with an ATS-34 blade. Each year BP puts out a few custom Buck knives. I also have the BP 194 with the same handle material.

Thanks jb i will have to look closer at the bass pro shop.They had some buck knives at there Grape Vine store .But i did not see anything like your knives there.I supose that you must order from the cat. when they first come out.
When ever that is. That Bob Timberlake is very nice.The buffalo is growing on me also. Thanks again.
