I just saw a Devin Thomas high-contrast ladder-patterned Mnandi (with ebony inlays) at Arizona Custom Knives. I didn't even know they were making Damascus Mnandis.

Any forumites have Damascus Mnandis? If so, let's see some pictures.

Had one.... BUMMER... I had to let someone have it. I had access to another that I thought was a "twin" to my mammoth Ivory /ladder damascus and I sold it and did not catch the fact that it was a raindrop pattern and since I messed up I gave the buyer the opportunity for money back or my knife. I really liked that ladder damascus.... and the other will more than likely be available....
excuse the poor scan....

sorry bout' that... tried to edit the picture and well er.. ah... shoot!!!!

Just so people can see some nice pictures of that knife you mentioned seeing at Arizona Custom knives, here are some pictures taken from their website.

Devon Thomas Ladder Damascus and Ebony inlay.

Ahhhh, now I feel relaxed!

Nothing like it for calming you down. Chris Reeve make Art, functional Art, but Art none the less. Even a sheeple would fall in love with that knife!

That ebony and ladder is beautiful, as are the two ivory inlaid knives. TallPaul, where did you find the ivory ones?

I ended up getting a very interesting Mnandi with wonderfully figured snakewood inlays and Bertie Rietveld snakeskin-patterned Damascus (born, appropriately, on Halloween). It has gotten more looks than any other Reeve knife I've carried (including the nice wood-inlay Sebbies). If you're looking for a custom-quality gentlemen's folder, these Damascus Mnandis may well be the best bargain around. My thanks to Mr. Reeve and his shop for producing another excellent product.

I finally got a digital photo of the snakewood Mnandi, but can't figure out how to get it pasted in here. Any tips?
