What pattern is this damascus steel and who makes it, I've tried to find who makes the knife but no avail?

looks like a variant of a ladder pattern. The design is similar to a sharp finger skinner, and yeah, probably made in Pakistan. I would be leery of the steel composition and heat treat. The edge looks a bit obtuse as well.

My Grandpa gave it to me as a gift, I don't know where he got it from
