Here's one I did for the Little Rock show. I was happy with how it cut:). Goes to show that a good damascus blade will hold its own;). It was a fun competition with some tough cuts. If you haven't been to the Art of Steel show then make a point to come. If you are a maker then bring a knife to cut with. The competition is a great lesson on edge geometry and handle ergonomics.
Damascus blade, stainless guard, titanium spacer, and ancient bog oak handle.
Thanks to Caleb Royer for the great photo :)

This one happened so fast that I don't have a shot of the actual cut. We were supposed to cut the shotgun shell...extra points for leaving the brass on the table.
Don't ask me to do this again, but the shell hardly moved :)

That's just about the perfect blade in my mind. I am a big fan of forge finished flats and classy, but rustic knives. Congrats on the win:thumbup:

Darcy:)
