Damascus question

I recently read a thread about benchmade damascus involving the difference between their Rob thomas damascus and Devon Thomas devin thomas damascus and i cant seem to find the thread reguarding which people had unfortunate problems with either of the noted makers, i know that it was one of the two will someone please inform me which to buy and not to buy.
