damascus recurve with sambar stag

I forged this blade from a billet I welded up of random ladder pattern 15n20 and 1084. The guard, spacer and butt cap are all damascus as well.

The butt cap has been fileworked to match the texture of the stag.
It measures 14 5/8'' long with a 9 1/8'' cutting edge. The spine is a hair under 3/16'' and tapers to the tip.
