Hi guys. A couple custom orders I finished this week. Hope you like it.
Damascus Seax Toothpick Knife Fully Functional
Description of the Damascus Steel:
Material = (4) layers 5160, (3) layers 203E, (3) layers 52100, (3) layers 15N20 folded 5 times for 416 Damascus layers.
History of the Seax:
The seax, or sax, was the universally carried knife in Northern Europe. It was carried and used by the Saxons, Angles, Viking and Germanic tribes. Used during the fall of Rome on into the early Middle Ages.
Total Length = 19 1/4
Blade Length = 15
Blade Width = 1 7/16
Blade Thickness = 3/16
Handle Length = 4 ¼
Handle Width = 7/8
Handle: Australian Cyprus. Scales attached with hidden pins and gorilla glued.
Weight = 10 oz
Runic Script Hand etching added to the blade.
