Damascus Sebenza 25 Anyone...???

How many of you would be in for a Sebenza 25 with Devin Thomas SS Damascus...???

I love the DT SS Damascus. Have always wanted one to EDC, but only lightly carry and many admire the ones I do have. The Sebenza 25 screams EDC with that thick blade among other features. Having DT in that thickness would be awesome.
 
I'd most likely buy one if it were available. It'd never replace my DT 21 as my edc, but I'd buy it, carry it, and use it even more fearlessly than my DT 21.
 
Like the 25 (have mine in my pocket as I type) a great deal and always wanted to EDC a Damascus blade. I'd be tempted and might give in.
 
I see the 25 as the less elegant of the two (21 and 25). I view the 25 as the bruiser/toughguy and DT seems out of place in my vision of this knife. Sorry, I just don't see the fit, and coupled with the apparent lack of inventory of DT stock, I don't see this happening soon regardless.

Obviously, I am not the one making the ultimate decision though, and I hardly feel qualified to make predictions about what CRK will do;)

I just got my first DT sebenza, and like it so far. (Though no real useage worth noting) I think the 25 would look great with certain patterns that would match the "character" of the knife. For example, I think the knife would look great with DT razor wire pattern Damascus.
 
I would buy one but there are buts. I think the 25 is pushed in a similar direction as the Umnumzaan so perhaps the addition of damascus is unlikely, that said they do have an inlay version so you never know. The 25 does bridge a gap of sorts bewteen the harder use Umnumzaan and the more resonable EDC orientated Sebenza..... and you really do never know what CRK are up to behind the curtain. :p
 
I would love one but Im all for their Raindrop pattern. I have always loved CRKs raindrop but prefer the older style raindrop with the more uniform look, but honestly ANY damascus on the 25 would be awesome!
 
I would definitely be in for a Sebenza 25 with damascus. One damascus that has really caught my eye is the Mike Norris Hornets Nest. Put that on the large hollow-ground 25 with carbon fiber inlays and some polished titanium scales... Hmm, maybe I'll Photoshop that up to see how it looks.
 
I too love the raindrop damascus. Basketweave would be a very close 2nd. Ladder has just never appealed to me and I have sold a few with it. I missed out on the spirograph though as I thought that one was awesome.......There are many exotic damascus patterns out there that CRK has used, but I would be happy with plain old raindrop...!!!
 
I would be up for seriously considering the Damascus enhanced Sebenza 25. CRK are you reading this thread? I hope someone with photoshop skills gins one up, even better in several of the patterns (raindrop, basketweave?). Then again, if this isn't possible to see the light of day, maybe I don't want to see it and get my cutlerphobia raging again!
 
I guess one factor would be if the DT ss is up to the more concentrated wear that occurs on the locking tang from the ceramic ball lock of the 25. The S35VN holds up, but there is no denying that ball makes a decent dent in the steel. With the 21, the bar spreads the wear over a larger area.

I'd like one if it worked, but when you start thinking, how about a Damascus umnumzaan? Can you imagine the pattern you would see on the harpoon swedge? That would be unreal.
