Last July I sent my small Sebenza to have the Zebra design added to the front scale. I liked it so much that I had CRK make a Devin Thomas raindrop stainless damascus blade for it. Well, I waited (10) months for CRK to get the damascus in stock, but it was worth the wait! It is one of the nicest combinations that I have seen. Depending on how you hold it in the light, the Zebra design flip-flops the darks and lights. CRK really takes the time to do the finishing touches right.

That is a fabulous Sebenza!! Your'e making me want to trick out some of mine now (ouch$$).
 
So I guess you now need a super-fancy set of scales made for that leftover S30V blade, eh?

Either that, or you'll be wanting my address to send me the extra blade....
 
Oh I don't know......... maybe i'll use the extra blade to make a carbon fiber scale Sebenza? Is that super- fancy enough? Well, maybe unique at least!

It looks great and yes it is very unique. I assume that is an over-lay, correct? Secondly, did you put an over-lay on the clip side? If so, can we see a pic?

Voodoo what kind of problems with the damascus user?
 
i cant seem to break down and use it cause its so dang pretty :) plus i heard they rust easy :grumpy:
 
The stainless doesn't rust easy, and the carbon only rusts as easy as other carbon. The stainless rusts just as easy as the two stainless' in them rust (hardly, if at all). Raducci, have you used the sebenza yet? How do you think the damascus holds up? And I mean using it, not rusting.
 
Trane fan, the carbon fiber is not a overlay, it is full thickness, both sides. I will try to post a picture of the back later, it looks and works the same as the titanium CRK slab.

I have not used the knife yet, I just received it Tuesday. I doubt if I will use it much, I have a LG Sebenza and a Scott Cook Lochsa that I use for EDC.

Randucci,
Can you provide some details about the CF sebbie? How does the lock operate? Does CF have the same flex as titanium? Very, very interesting. Did you do it yourself or have someone else do it? Would love to see some additional images, lots of close-ups if you got 'em :)

Looks fantastic!!! I'd guess it's a bit lighter than the standard Ti sebbie.
