Got this one at a show a little over a week ago, been taking lots of pictures.
Buffalo Horn and Damascus Slipjoint made by Chuck Gedraitis
-3 3/16 blade of Delbert Ealy thunderstorm Damascus
-Black buffalo horn handles, nickel silver bolsters
-Anodized Ti liner, machine turned on this inside
-Fileworked stainless backbar, machine turned on the inside
-Ivory blade rest inside the handle
This is my second knife from Chuck. The action on the knife is smooth. The tension on the backbar is right to my liking, strong enough to feel secure but not so much that the blade slams closed. The action has a half stop. The knife is very slim but the blade fills the handle almost right to the end so theres a lot of edge if you want to use it. Final picture shows the slipjoint next to a liner lock Chuck made for me last fall.
Comments are welcome.
