This one is pretty small, I like to think of it as a "gentleman's neck knife" The steel is damascus made up at Bill Buxton's place and only has about an 1 3/4 inch blade. I don't have the knife in front of me, and will include specs later. Thanks for looking.

That's totally cool. I've always wanted on of those.

My wife saw it and remarked, "Wow did someone really make that?" I like that pocket sheath idea.

Thanks - the sheath took longer than the knife! :D Now to soak my burnt thumbs. :)

Lookin good Michael, that little feller should make for a good every day carry, especially when your huntin and fishin. I like Bowies but I'm beginning to like those smaller knives just as much. Real handy like a pocket knife but easy to draw and replace back in the sheath with only one hand.

Nice Job Mike
is that some of the Damascus you made?
I'm thinking you said you made up there back a long??..
was that you?

I believe so. Bill was nice enough to show me how it's done and send me home with some. The only problem is that I caught the smithy bug and went and built my own forge. :D

Michael, really nice! I think you are more serious than a hobby maker, too. Dave Larsen makes some little beauties with sheaths like that, and I beleive Dave uses O1. The dama steel really adds to be little rascal's looks, also. I think a little pocket blade like that would be a great edc!
