Finished this one a couple of months ago but just got around to getting it photographed properly. Here's what I just got from Chuck. The random damascus is forged by Chad Nichols and forged to shape by me.9 1/4" long with deep etch and random rasp forge texture.Handle is sambar stag that has been dyed and oil treated, with a textured copper band and rawhide wraps.Fittings are wrought iron that has been heat colored a deep gun metal blue.OAL is 14 1/4".The sheath has a textured copper back panel, with the edges wraped in dyed braintanned buckskin. The belt loop also has a textured copper inlay as well. Thanks for the great photo Chuck!

John That came out very nice I really like what you are doing with the copper in your sheath work and using copper in the knife really makes it go together well

All of a sudden it's raining bowies on the forum. :) Great job Jon - I like the combination of damascus with forge texture. The sheath is just terrific.

I have a feeling this lady won't be wanting for dance partners at the prom, John:D

Thanks guys!Scott, unless it sells between now and then,I will have this one in Arkansas. And yeah, I've tried to up the ante a little, because in Arkansas if you throw a handfull of feathers in the air, every single one will land on a Mastersmith's table:eek:so no pressure, right:D!
