Do ya'll know of a Buck Stockman with stag handles and damascus blades? My friend was talking about a Buck that matches that that he and his dad each had. He lost it and would really like to have another one. His birthday is coming up and I would like to get him one if I can. I would be very appreciative for any information. Thanks guys.

Draws a blank on my radar, I can guess of a couple of folks who would want one if you find a passel of them.

I believe Case has done runs of Damascus slipjoints a least a couple of times. There are some out there on the Bay now that are recent production and saw some from late 80s also. A stag and damascus 301 or 307 (even better) would be a "gotta have it" for me personally. I'm with 300Bucks...I don't think thats been done.

A Buck 301 with teardrop Damascus and Stag scales would be drool-producing, for sure.

Affordable Damascus/Stag folders are made up the road a piece in Jacksonville, AL - at Bear MGC/Alabama Damascus. I have a 597D - their 110-sized folder - in their linear 512 layer Damascus and Stag - nice, but pedestrian in comparison to my Buck's custom shop teardrop Damascus 110, even though the latter was just a few bucks over the Bear's list price ($150 then). I did get mine new - from a low-ball bid on evil-bay from a store - my best buy there. Still, it's huge - and just not as 'fine' as a 110.

Yeah, a 301 would be nice in Damascus and Stag.

I'll echo the same sentiments. I don't remember ever seeing a damascus 301 and I'm sure that is one that would stick in my mind. If you found a bucket full of them I'm guessing it would take a bucket full of money to get a hold of them. But, then, I'm only guessin'.

We did do a special run of the model 704 in damascus many years back. The did not have stag inlays though. Unfortunately, the 300 series have always been produced with our standard steel.

Well Joe maybe ya'll should think about high-end steel on those slippies.
301,303,307,311,313,314 & 317 would be killer in 154cm.
Oh, might as well do the 700 series too.:D:D:D

When I met Chuck at LLBean this year I asked him what knife did he carry and it was a TNT. So I showed him my EDC pre-86 701 and he said "that's a collectable knife" So, I said I knew that but liked it so I carried it alot...but I had a mint one in the knife roll. He kind of liked that I think.

I asked him today and he said it wasn't a stockman. He also never said it had stag inlays I just figured it did because damascus usually comes with stag. I think the one you are talking about could be it. Do you have any idea where I could get one? I just looked on evil-bay and they don't have one. Thanks Joe.
