Here's a Damascus Trapper I recently finished and sent to the customer.
3 1/4 in. Ladder pattern blade of 1084&15N20 hollow ground. Mammoth Ivory scales, pinned Bowtie sheild, engraved flower on the 416 bolsters. Comments are welcomed........
Best Regards,
Steve

Beautiful! That's going to make someone very happy.

Nice! All the elements work beautifully together to create a rich, warm, earthy and timeless impression.

That is what I'm talking about, your great damascus and engraving:thumbup::thumbup:. Great combo Steve:D

Another worthy effort, Steve!

Stunning!
I am a big fan of subtle engraving on folders, it can really "set off" the right knife, and this one is no exception, Bravo!

Kindly explain to me why you would call that single blade knife a "trapper"? To my eye there is nothing about it from the shape of the stocks to the shape of the blade that looks anything like any other trapper I have ever seen.
Having been a trapper in decades past I will add I never--never!!!--saw any trapper using a "trapper" knife, that is to say, the two blade knife with a clip and spey blade I think of when I hear the word "trapper"?
