I cannot decide what to go for, damascus or S30V. I intend to use the knife, however, I will be using it often around people who much appreciate very nice hunting/outdoor equipment - guns, knives, etc. Therefore there is a demand for beauty too, not only functionality.
Well, damascus is more expensive, but more beatiful. What about technical characteristics? Which one is better for edge retention, rust, sharpening etc? And is there a big difference?
