OK!!! I am still waiting to see knives made out of the damascus I gave out. Let's see John Andrews had a billet the longest and Dan Koster is next. Come on Guys do it to it. :grumpy: :confused: :D

Yeah, me, too, IG! I got it figured,I can make at least TWO knives using your great steel. One is of course a small game (squirrel) knife with either a small folder or auto blade in the handle of the fixed blade knife. That will still leave me with enough steel for a larger blade knife. Roger (rlinger) has graciously offered to do my HT. What I also appreciate about IG's billet is the special way it is made. The NS is just where I want it, away from where the cutting edge will be. Some pretty fancy planning and work, George! You good, fella! Honest injun comment, by the way, George. Dan, congratulations to you, Moderator! George, things been hectic with wife spending so much time in the hospital, kinda cutting into my shop time. what do you think of a small game knife with another blade incorperated in the handle? I've done one, a lockback incorperated into the handle of a large fixed blade. It was a nightmare to build, and I was glad to deliver it. Whaddaya think, IG? Both blades will, of course, be made of your steel.
 
I am anxious to see it. I speak with John often and each and every single time he never fails to brag on that damascus. I wish IG was my friend:( .

Just kidding. I am anxious to see John's blades made of it though. I'll put a lot of care into the HT and IG I will probably be emailing you for your suggestions on that.

I still have to finish a knife from the damascus we made the last time I was up. The time the reporter came to make you famous. I have been seeing a lot of the world in the past year, so it's still laying on my bench. I'll try to have a picture to you by the end of the summer.

I've been here and there, there and here, you know how it goes. I've been a CPT for over 5 yrs now, should be a couple more. I am in GA now, hopefully I'm going to make it to the Blade Show next month. Not sure when I'll be up in your area again though. Hope all is well.

Kit, has anyone ever told you that you make great knives? You mean I'm not the first, for darn sure! Say, which folder are you talking about on your post, after we click on it? Is it the prototype one?
 
You guys were supposed to say "Kit, you didn't attach a picture" and I was gonna say, Yea, no damascus from IG either :(

Sorry you Redskin. I should of written Indian Motocycle. Motocycle is the way that the Indian Co. spelled it. :o :o
