You know it! I have lusted after the raindrop for a while, it is my favorite pattern. I have a small piece of raindrop mokume too!
I am planning on making 4 knives from this piece, my necker pattern that I usually make in Ti comes to mind as a good one to do. Tantos too...
I'm thinking maybe a cord wrap where the pattern shows through could be nice as a handle concept.
I also consider making some pendants from the scraps or even saving 1/4 of it for bolsters and jewelry.
This stuff looks really good in person and is 52100 based, I am very excited about it. I wasn't really a fan of Damascus until I saw the piece in person and it really blew me away!

The necker sounds good & with a see through wrap would be killer.
Maybe do some lanyard beads out of the scraps,one for each knife made out of it.

Looks like a great pattern.The thing with Damascus is that it is so expensive. One of these days, only thing is I like to get my knives dirty.But I keep them cleaned oiled and sharp.

clean or dirty.. well, I think I have one knife that is dirty but I use it too damn much to keep it sparkly..
raindrop.. one of your bushcraft with that damascus... but handle material.. tough decision.. I'm not fond of wood.. but glow might be too ghetto for the raindrop.. THOUGH kryto might work.. hmmm yes.. hmmm beer yes.... :] good on ya Big for not drinking anymore.. I quit for 2yrs once.. I'll drink to your sobriety.. I don't get drunk though much these days.. hangovers kill me for 2 days and then I usually get sick.. my body hates me

They won't be too pricey and the 5160/52100 base is all business.
I am not a Damascus guy or into "show" knives but this material really impresses me.Sharp is key

That would be cool! I think I will make 4 neckers as the piece is on the smaller side but a bushcraft knife does sound sweet. Scales... maybe raindrop mokume and jade on one if I want to get crazy!
