Hi guys.

This is a knife I made that was presented to my boss, as a gift from his employees, on his 50th birthday yesterday. Originally, my idea was to make a cigarcutting knife, but this guy smokes the fattest of cigars and I failed to come up with a design that I was pleased with. As a result, I ended up using a half finished project, that had been lying around in my shop for 2 years. This folder was originally made with warthog tusk as handle material, which in fact had dictated the shape of the handle. However, I decided to change the handle slabs to mamooth ivory for this special occasion. Here are the specs:

Blade: Damasteel, ladder pattern approx 3,5mm thick
Liners: Ti 6Al4V, blue anodized and partially fileworked
Bolsters: Stainless
Handle slabs: Bark mamooth ivory
Engraving: Scroll, initials and family weapon by Stanley Stoltz

Leather pouch by maker

Gift box in walnut and masurbirch veneer by a local craftsman (who is superb at theese I might add). Customized and enlarged by me, to fit the knife and pouch.

Knifemaker: Brian Pedersen

Thanks for looking.
