Just shy of 9" oal these hunters were made from Damasteel with nickel silver bolsters and customer supplied end cut Mammoth Ivory:

Capturing the colors of this unique ivory was pretty difficult but mostly we got er done. Thanks for looking and questions and comments are welcome.
 
Thanks the customer picked em out and sent me the ivory.
 
Very nice, love the ivory,...

If you etch your Damasteel in pure muriatic acid it will be bright and shinny and black.
 
True that however, we didn't want to get too contrasty with these. In the same order was some from Hoss' high contrast dammy. They are much darker, bolder. and thay-you by the way.

Really nice looking knives. The steel/handle are a great contrast. I'm curious if you used damasteel for the entire blade or if you changed to a different steel under the grips? May be a trade secret so just let me know.
 
Very nice looking knives, that ivory is stunning, almost a pastel color, I like that.
