Here is a project that has been very interesting thanks to a very enthusiastic and friendly customer.

Three of my favorite materials was used for this knife;

Blade is Damasteels BjorkmanTwist pattern stainless damascus.
Handle has bronze bolsters and stabilized Yewburl scales with thin fileworked bronze liners.

The sheath is wetshaped around the knife as I usually do and the detail is made with the same Yewburl and bronze.

Very plesant and inspiring opportunity, thank you.

Wonderful. It is so very interesting, the straight spine suspending the curves... I particularly like the detail photo showing the file worked liners and that perfectly spaced gap between the bolster and scales.. great work!
Beautiful sheath too.

I got to see Lorien's knife made by you first hand last weekend so I can imagine this one even more..

Another very elegant piece Magnus, your attention to detail and skills as a craftsman are just outstanding!

great to see you back in here Magnus! Obviously, you've been a busy fellow.
Yet another outstanding piece, I like Stu's observation that the knife kind of hangs from the straight spine. Sublime curves and incredible attention to detail, executed with extreme craftsmanship.

As always, Magnus, something beautiful and definitely yours. I hope to meet you some day, at a Blade Show or something, because your work does really stand out as noticeably by you, unlike much of what one often sees at the Blade Show.

Best,

Bob

Very cool Magnus. Your have a unique design vision that makes your work difficult to confuse with that by any other maker. :thumbup:
