hi.
This is a knife i hade on my table in Helsingfors knife show.
I call the knife "The Desk Dirk".
Blade in damasteel.The patten is called "Vinland". Filework on spine
Handle in Swedish whitebeam,nickel silver, fileworked copper, damasteel and cowhorn.
stand in masurbirch and damasteel details.

This is such a nice knife! I really like the stand!
But you know what; one of your nice sheaths would be a great addition to it
It would look great laying in front of the stand!

What a great looking knife and presentation. Can you explain the cow-horn handle? It looks amazing and compliments the steel. How do you come by it? Is it a laminate roll? Where can I get some?

oh no the handle is made of whitebeam. There is a peace of cowhorn in the back end of the knife.
you cant really se that in the picture but its there so i had to wright it down in the precentaiton.
Im really sorry for the missunderstanding.
Cowhorn is a cool matirel do. when polisch it is transparent with black lines in.
So if you glue some goldleaf under it become like a golden sparkle. Or if you glue a picture under it will become a real cool effect
