Hi,
I’m making a folder with damasteel bolsters. Do I need to heat treat the bolsters to get a good etch?
I’m using muriatic acid for the etch. Is there anything better?

I know Todd Begging uses ferric chloride to do his etch!!! There are videos on YouTube with him doing an etch!!!
