Seems like my projects take longer and longer time to complete, so it is nice to finally have something finished again.

Blade is Random Damasteel, filework with inlaid bronze pins.

Handle is made with Meteorite bolsters and Mammothivory scales.
Fileworked and heatcoloured torxscrews hold everything in place.

The sheath is lined with thin leather and has a couple of Damasteel details, including the stud for the strap.

Overall length is just short of 16" (395mm)
The blade is 10" (250mm) and is .25" (6.5mm) thick.

Any and all thoughts are welcome.

Not the best of pictures unfortunately...

That is incredible!!!

I am at a loss, truly fantastic!!!! I can't even begin to imagin the amount of work involved in that!

Don't really care for this one which is odd in that I usually always like your work.
Perhaps a little too much on the wild side for me.

Though having said that, there's no denying both the knife and sheath broadcast your enormous abilities as a knife/sheath maker.

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate them all very much!

Kevin, I agree, this is a bit on the wild side.
I have made a few recurves now and I decided that this was going to be the last for quite a while.
Since it is, I thought I`d try to pull out all the stops and see where it got me...
Thanks for telling me your thoughts about it!

that knife is super sick. I especially dig the inlaid spine- tres cool:thumbup:
Meteorite is sweet, I just love the way that stuff looks.

You pulled out ALL the stops! No doubt about that. It looks good on you. I'll bet you could get even WILDER!!! And... I think you should:D

I'm into de Braga and Jensen, and you're taking that futurism and kneading in some natural and/or organic stuff to bring it into another plane. You'll go far with your work if you keep hearing the CALL OF THE WILD!

This is by far my favourite of any Axelson knife I've seen. Well, til the next one hehe.

Ps. do you take deposits?:D

I am with Kevin on this one. I usually do find your work very appealing, but the back of the knife looks like it could be dangerous to a user if they actually did anything with it. I prefer my wrists intact.

You what?
So it looks better than that in real life?

My head says that it's not really my sort of thing but my heart says different.
It makes me want to live in a fantasy world and kill Orcs. Lots of Orcs.

That piece is amazing.
I bow down.

Another fantastic work of art Magnus. I could easily see the "Magnus Axelson Gallery of Art" in your future. All Magnus knives, all the time.

MA -- I love it. I'm partial to the wild side. Not quite to Jensen but do have a couple of de Braga's and have always liked his work. I generally enjoy what you are producing and this one would be fun to handle and see in person I'm sure.

Just a little bit too scifi for me...but it oozes quality for sure. What I really like about this knife is the way you treated the spine....very creative.

Not practical ? Sure !

But since when Works of Art are meant to be practical ?

One thing though : you didn't post enough pictures !

probably the coolest knife i've EVER seen. i wish i could afford a blade like this. Yes i would treat it like a piece of art and have a showcase for it.

From an artistic and craftsmanship perspective it is impressive and a pleasure to see. It is not a knife I would want to posess, but I appreciate the skills that went into creating it.

The sheath, as always, compliments the knife well.

Lorien, thank you!!!
You have a whole store full of different kinds of deposits :D

Just a small note, the back end is not sharp at all, not even the tip.

Thanks again for all comments!

That leather work is amazing! Very well done, and the accents are a very nice addition.

The knife is stunning as well. :)

I think there will be a deposit on its way this week:D
