Always been a fan of Damasteel. I've got a few folders with it but I wanted something a bit different. I saw some Damasteel rings on ETSY. Contacted the maker and had them make a ring with a 18K rose gold inlay.

Looks sweet. I'd wear that in a heartbeat. Someday I would love to have something like that made. You almost nailed a design that I would jump on. Thanks for showing.

It arrived about 3 weeks after I ordered it. It was a bit tight for the finger I was going to wear it on so I sent it back to be "resized". Since it's Damasteel, the inside diameter is being machined a bit larger (on a lathe). I could have done it locally, I have a friend that has a machine shop at his house but decided to have the original maker do it. It cost me about $50 to send it back to Prague, insured. I'll also pay for them to resend it, which only cost them about $20.
 
Three weeks isn't bad, you'll have to post a photo when it comes back. Very unique ring.

Great piece. I too love Damasteel.

I wish that it was around when Barry Wood was making knives. I'd love an all Damasteel BW folder!:)
 
Speaking of Barry Wood... I just purchased 4 more this week to add to my current collection. I've now got 69... along with 22 Wood/Irie folders.
