I bought some of this stuffand was wondering how do you color it? I know you etch it like regular damascus but since its all stainless it doesnt blue....so I assume its with heat? anyone have any pointers or how to's?

Muriatic acid from the hardware store works just fine at $3. 00/gallon. It gives a higher contrast etch than Sulfuric (battery) acid.

http://www.ssdamascus.com has directions online along with the other methods and also directions for heat coloring. I don't think chemical bluing will work on stainless very well.
 
You can Nitre blue Damasteel at 900 deg. You get lots of good colors and don't have to worry about changing the temper because you also temper damasteel at 900 deg.
