Thanks for reminding me guys!

Anyways, I guess the time came and went.
So here's what I'm going to do. Post a pic of the sexiest Becker you have, and no pics of it posing for a magazine. I wana see it doing work, camping , doing anything fun(preferably outside). Also List the next becker you plan to buy. Contest is open to everyone. I will let it run till I hit 1100 post(maybe a bit longer). I will have a friend judge it so it's fair.

The prize:
1st Place will get their choice of either the orange kydex sheath(no knife, just the sheath), or a zebra wood fire steel.
2nd Place will get what first place didn't chose.

Sound like a plan? Better hurry up since it might not last long ;)

To get the ball rolling

I love practicing my fire-making whenever I can. I have switched out the green/black paracord wrap for orange and I just got a new sheath too. I love showing it off so I will post a pic or two of it. Because of the fact that it is in the category of a sexy magazine shot, this will not be a part of my entry (the pics below anyway).

I plan to buy a 16 when I procure adequate funds; it looks to be the perfect main blade IMO. I feel bad that I want to kick my Condor Bushlore out of rotation for my woods EDC, but carrying a family of Beckers up with me just seems 'right' :D

Thanks for the chance brother!

I'll try to take pics of my BK5 tomorrow when I'm out fishing.

Edit: I don't think I have much of a chance, but here goes.

Nice contest, thanks for the generosity. Not entering this one, but good on ya!

Here's my 16 at work (not an entry). Got a really sweet patina from all the food prep.

Sweet contest man. I'll add my photos to this post here later (might be tomorrow when I have light again).

I batoned my way through the largest piece of wood I've ever done last night, I guess just for fun. It was the main trunk from an epically twisted and knotted little scrub oak or something.

I got the BK9 in about a blade width in and it got a huge bend, and it couldn't get it to work in any farther (and was heck to get out). The BK2 is what did the rest. I took the beginnings of the split that the BK9 did and worked it point first (it was about an inch thicker than the BK2's blade is long) down either side and eventually it split. It took me likehalf an hour, but its really just amazing what the BK2 could do, as I was really beating on it.

Guess the photos might not look super impressive, but you wanted photos of the blade doing work, and that is the hardest I've worked any of my Beckers so far.

Actually batoned it from the side, using the pommel extension.

Saved the War Sword from a crazy knot here.

Back when it was newer.

My next Becker will be either the BK17, or the BK16 :D.

Thanks for the chance.

That all looks great so far! I might push it back a little, we'll see how it plays out. Keep up the good work guys :)

Here's my favorite photo of my two of my Beckers. I was collecting some bamboo to make into scales for my BK14.

I'm still planning on making the scales, but since I'm letting it dry out naturally, it's taking forever.

My next Becker will probably be the BK5, unless I convince myself to get the BK3 next.

Next becker is probably gonna be another 9 since I traded my 9 for a 2 and I miss it!
