I have a large carbon fiber sebenza. Two weeks ago I decided to take the clip screw out and see how the knife felt with the clip off. The clip hole ended up stripping the screw. Well, I got it fixed and its been good almost two weeks now. My girlfriend sat down next to me and when she got up the bottom of the clip caught her pants and it bent out. &(@")@;&: Now I need to take it out and call for another screw. My luck!

Send it back in. The clip should be reworked so you can remove the screw without stripping it.

with your run of the luck, maybe order few extra screws for that -just in case- happenstance.

With your bad run of luck I'd send it in I wouldn't even try to reem out the hole , just send it in :(

Could be a sign to just ditch the clip; feels better in the hand without one anyways.;)

+1 for "Clipless" Clipless and carried in a belt sheath or hip pocket sheath works best for me. My clip, along with its flattened clip screw are resting in the CRK box. (R.I.P.) ;)

another one for going clip less, get one of his sheaths. They look beautiful and protect your investment more that just clipping it to your pocket.

Yeah. If this screw ordeal happens once more that's what I'm doing. How can I make sure that I straightened the clip out correctly as it was originally before I put the screw back in? It has tension but I don't know how high off the scale the second bump should be.

I check a clips tension by opening the knife and tapping the clip, if it makes that ping noise it needs more bend. The actual shape of the clip doesn't matter much, this is a pic of my Umnumzaan with a clip that was bent back for ref. :)

Dude I just ended up sending in my cf sebenza to get a clip with a properly aligned hole. It should be that way and you know crk will take care of you.

Its all fixed :-) they sent me two clip screws. When i first got the knife i treated it as glass. Now that i've used it and seen what it can do, it kills me to not have it on me. I need to get a better lanyard for it though! Wish i knew someone who tied them.

Go to a site like boondagogle.com (spelling) or youtube and you can see how to tie just about any knot you can think of. Trying to make one of those coiled up stretchy badboys isn't as easy though. :)
