Dan Crotts Chute Knife

For some time now I have been a dyed in the wool slipjointer. I decided I need a big honkin' knife just because. I got this one by Dan Crotts. D2 and ironwood, red fiber liner, sharpened top edge, blade is a little over 6 inches and overall about 11. Thanks, Dan.

Lately, I am having a preference for those over nickel silver and brass on most pieces...

Whatever, they look fantastic on the handle and those are some nasty wicked grinds on the blade.
