Dan Crotts

What can you guys tell me about Dan Crotts knives? There isn't a lot of info out there on his knives.

I have a Crotts B\T and like the blade shape better then my Dozier B\T. Steel is same. Excellent knives just like the Dozier products.

If you can get to the New York knife shows (held in New Jersey!) stop by the Dozier table, Dan will be there. Good guy.

Sounds like I made a good choice. I have one of his model 1's coming. Should be here tomorrow. It's main purpose if I like it will be field dressing and skinning whitetails.

Dozier knives are not made by the name behind the brand alone. Crotts worked or maybe still does at Dozier's. That means his grinds, fit, finish and heat treat should be as good or better than Dozier.

Looks like a great knife for hunting chores. I suspect Dan makes a lot of Bob Dozier's knives.
