Les: Is custom maker and guild member Dan Dennehy still active. I used to see him occaisionally at shows in the southwest. He made a number of interesting tactical fixed blades as well as various historical styles. I once owned his "Green Beret" model. Quite a knife. Dan was a character in buckskins. Haven't heard of him in years. Any intel?

Dan is still kicking around out there. He is a good friend of mine. He has had to slow down a bit because of his age. I think that he is 76 now and is slowing down a bit, but still making knives.

Dan is also a friend of G. Gordon Liddy and can occasionally be heard as a guest on the syndicated radio show. A great knifemaker and a very interesting man.

I first met Dan at a guild show in Kansas City in the 70's. He certainly was an interesting man and a fine custom maker. I'm glad to hear that he's still active. I'll have to catch Liddy more often. Does Dan take orders at this point or still have a catalog? I never see his knives for sale on the aftermarket. Thanks.
