got this one from another collector last month but have been busy and just got to posting it now.

After I got it done with the caption, Dan advised me that the "foot" of gold is 24K (99.9% pure).

This is a very light weight knife and fits the hand perfectly and in the sheath it is very tight. The gold wire work is better than most I have seen on high end knives.

Dan does some fabulous work. The pile of hunters he had in Atlanta was something to behold. All of them gorgeous. This one here however, is as fine a specimen as I have seen. Beautiful knife. Congrats.

Dan is a hell of a nice guy and the ABS should be proud to have people like him in their ranks. Just a super group of personable fellows.

Dunno, never heard of him.

Sure makes a fine knife though, doesn't he?

Nice pic, Murray. Thanks for sharing. :)

Another BEAUTIFUL knife from that Dan Farr fella!

It's too bad he's such a nice guy too, he makes for too stiff a competition! :D :D :D

***Just kidding, it's guys like Dan that make me proud to be part of the knife-making community***

Gee, which chucklehead collector let that one go? :p Nice pics and knife Murray.

Thanks guys, you're making me blush! I've really been lucky in having great customers, and an abundance of help from a bunch of great makers.

Thanks again,
Dan

Dan you need to post some more pics of your knives here. I haven't seen one yet that I didn't love, This latest one is wallpaper on my computer now.

Thanks Murray, for the nice shots of a great-looking knife! :D

Dan Farr--isn't he running in the new election for California...??? Oh, that's some OTHER superstar...! ;)

Oh-- congrats to YOU Murray for making such a good choice. You know quality, fersher.

It's a beaut. I agree with Kyle, Dan needs to show more of his knives here before he sends them off to customers. You too Nick.

but if the makers keep showing off the knives, then we collectors can't have any fun lol.

now of course, I can show a couple of Nicks knives and maybe if he is kind, I'll get a nice damascus hunter with carved handle like the one I missed out on last Fall. Then I'd have a damascus hunter, a forged fighter/bowie and a stock removal dagger. That would be kewl.
