Ha! This is a forum tailor-made for picture postin' bastids like me! LOL
Here's my latest attempt at digital imaging. It's a Dan Fronefield "Midnight" meteorite folder. Meteorite san-mai damascus blade. The handles are Renfrow stony meteorite. This meteorite exhibits a black stone matrix flecked with bright nickel inclusions. The bolsters are Gibeon nickel-iron meteorite - acid etched to reveal widmanstatten pattern, which develops during the slow cooling of the iron core of a planetoid (asteroid). The full-length backspacer is fileworked and has an Albin stony-iron meteorite inlay. This rare meteorite forms as molten nickel-iron flows around emerald green olivine crystals. The thumb stud also features an Albin stony-iron meteorite inlay. 2.5" blade and 6" OAL.

The knife was scanned on my 5200 series HP scanner. The imaging was done in Adobe PhotoDeluxe. The carbon steel blade core has a mirror finish, but shows up black in the scanner.
