About 3 years ago I met Dan Pfanenstiel at the BAKCA where I bought my 1st bare blade tanto from him, Dan then gave me the great opporunity of picking up 2 more. Next, is my new beauty by Dan which he made the copper tsuba, fuchi/kashire, seppa and habaki, wrapped the handle over a silver crossbone and skull menuki on same. Not only is Dan and his Wife good people and such a joy to talk with...I just love his work that he does...somebody to watch out for you collector/users!
