Here is Danbo's first knife. Pretty darned impressive, imho.
I will leave it to maker to comment on the specs. The sheath is from Treestump Leather.

First knife? BASTID!!!!! lol. VERY nice work. As for the Treestump hunter sheaths, I have bought a number of the "ready made" ones and they are very fine.

As someone who leans more as a "user", the shape alone looks to be functional. Everything else (+ sheath) just seems icing on the cake!

Please allow me to Hijack this thread...

Vampire Gerbil owns the first Unger Knife...If I rember correctly from Dans Killians Red musings...

I own the Second aptly named the Corky Cutter...:D

This knife has a Lifter Pocket sheath and is in the "never to be sold or traded" part of my collection...

I sure missed seeing Danbo at the hammer-in, but at least I got to play with his knife. Very well done bro! Peter was very pleased.

Seen a few of Danbo's knives.

I was very impressed with his grinds, but picky bastids better grind well when the decide to make knives. :D.

Actually, the very first Danbo knife was some crude skeleton handled piece of BG42 that I never even marked my name on, I was so unimpressed with it. But, a friend of mine wanted it, so he bought it for a song. Where it is now, I have no idea, but my friend is deceased.

The second knife actually belongs to Shappa here on BF, and is the only knife I was ever able to successfully stamp my name on, without getting a double die effect. Nothing fancy; O1 and maroon micarta, but Shappa likes it, apparently. Hopefully, he won't post any pics of it though. ;) :)

Me likey. Danbo needs to change his title to Knifemaker.... :D

Great looking knife.

Ok, the specs on this knife of Peter's is as follows:

Overall length is about 8". Blade steel is 1095/15N20 twist(I believe from Craig Barr, but don't hold me to that), handle overlays are stabilized Jarrah Burl with nickel silver pins.
