I was wondering how the dander knives compare to the SR1A? Which one would you buy? I am a farmer and like to hunt and hike. I really like the looks of the red handle SR1A,s. Thinking I might have to get a heist 2.

What size of folder are you looking for? DPx HEST/F is only 3.1" blade whereas SR-1A is 3.7". Dendra has flippers only.

It does not matter. You can do a lot with 3" blade. I do not like short handles.

I agree. I use a lot of 2.9" to 3.1" folders and fixed blade knives.

Consider a LionSteel SR-2 Aluminum (Red, Orange, Green or Black handle) or DPx HEST/F Milspec folders both with a 3.1" blade of Sleipner steel and under $200. The handle on the DPx is 4.5" (G10/Titanium) and on the SR-2A 4" (all aluminum).

If you're using it outdoors for work, etc. the HEST/F will give you a better grip since it's a little longer and not all aluminum.
