I have my choice of a few (just a few) but normally carry a Delica, zytel handle. But, I left it at work this weekend, so I'm carrying one of hubbys..stainless steel standard. I find the tip down carry hard to manuever, though so I dont care for it all the time.
You know, it's funny we've always been a "gun" family, and I own a couple of those myself, but never had a knife. Since working at Spyderco and carrying a knife I am surprised how many times a day I slide it out for one thing or another. We are avid campers, and try to go at least every other weekend. We went last weekend, and I decided to count how many times I used my Delica. Well, after getting up to about 17 or 18, (and that was just by Saturday morning) I said heck with it...point made that I need it a lot!
My best girlfriend poo-poo'ed me and hubby's knife craziness at first, but while we were all up camping she kept saying "Danelle, let me use your knife" over and over. We bought her husband a Wayne Goddard and gave it to him up camping, now I guess she needs one too!
