Hey Dave! I don't wanna play anymore. It's like swimming in a pool with Mark Spitz.

Steve

I would just like to know how many pieces it took to make that handle. He is holding out on us indeed.

Craig

Boy is that pretty, Dave. Scagel for a new millenium! Very cool.

Fantastic --

Take a look at his other piece in the "for sale" section, it's another piece of perfection!

Damn, Mike had it right, you have been holding out on us. You'd better start posting more of that stuff over here and stop hiding it on the sale page.
;)
What a beauty!

Wow! I had the privilege of handling that one in person (you should see the sheath that goes with it too!). This is only one of the fantastic knives that Dave took to Blade to show off and it's a beauty!

Well done Dave I have seen it before but it is allways worth another look. I have images of a number of your knives one day I will have a go at a couple.

Holy Cow! Steve you sure slipped one in one me! :D

Dang guys, thanks for the nice words. I think it's the photography that makes a difference, I had that done at Blade last year. I'm still the same old knifemaker hack. But that is a far cry from the first knives I posted here a couple years ago...yikes. I love that rotary platen.

I got lucky, the big bowie has sold already! Yay!

Steve, I'll be watching for my opportunity to turn one around on you! :D

Dave

Dave, was that the big bowie with the fancy sheath you showed me at your place? It was a WOW too! Great knife, and balance and feel I liked very much.

Man, those guys at Point7 sure can make a piece of crap look good in their pictures....

PAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!:p

Of course I'm kidding. I got to see and handle this knife in Atlanta, and Dave really out-did himself on this one.

The fit and finish is top notch, and the FLOW of this knife is all its own....Your eye just glides around it's beautiful lines.

I don't know why he didn't show us the picture!!!
Nick

Hey Nick, you're a funny guy - but looks aren't everything!

BWAAHAAAAHAAAAAA!!!! :D :D

Just kidding of course. Thanks for all the kind remarks everyone. I sure do like making knives. Now, if I could just get my wife to let me into the shop more...

Dave

Dave,

Wife letting into the shop?

Here's how. Simply pre-sell some stuff. Then order some fancy equipment on a credit card.

When she sees the bill you say that you have the money coming in to pay for it as soon as you finish the next 3 knives.

You get toys and she tells you to get your butt in the shop to pay for them.

Life is good,

Steve
