This one:

We were about 150 miles from home after a three day, 1000 mile motorcycle trip...
One of my buddies following me said he saw a pocket knife go skittering down the road behind me...
It was to far to go back...
I think my riding overpants must have caught the clip in my jeans pocket at previous rest stop and it worked its way down my leg...

So....dang...that was one of my favorites...figures...:grumpy:

Now that sucks! Sorry to hear it.......I lost my Leek weed wacking one day but I was lucky, after 2 hours of looking I found it. Whew! Anyway, I feel your pain. :(

Ouch.....that's going to be a tough one to replace. They are still around but you don't see them frequently.

I lost a lg. Regular CRK about 3 1/2 months ago some place in the house

I still havent given hope that Ill find it....Im still looking. :D

I lost my leek and when out and got another one. about 3 weeks later I go down to the storage yard ( it is a private one at my mobile home park ) and there is was on my trailer tongue. boy was I a happy camper.

Yes, I know. I've already started looking, but no luck.

One option would be to grab the G-10 / S30V Leek that is still in production. You could easily polish the G-10 yourself. I'll shoot you a PM with other options.

You would think your friend would speed up to you and let you know it fell off, so you could have easily went back and grabbed it before going to far.

I remember losing my first knife--I was 16 or 17 and I had a Wal-Mart Gerber that cost about $40. It was a huge sum of money to me at the time. I was hiking out here in Asia and I lost it. That hurt, but what hurt even more was finding it a few months later--the blade had rusted through and split in the middle. I carried it home like you'd carry a dead pet. :(

Middle lane of a busy three lane interstate...I couldn't expect that.
Besides, he's not a knife guy, he wouldn't have considered it anything special...

Even if he did, it would have been a long walk back after we stopped...
Although I am curious how it held up to being run over by dozens of semis...

There's one on that big auction site new in box. Starting price is a little high but if you have to have another one...... The add says "1660pgt" its not 1660pgst but it looks the same.

Just a heads up hope this isn't "deal spotting". Good luck with your search.

I lost my thinned down flat ground Spyerco Native canoeing last summer. Its in the Elk River in southwest Missouri. I'm going back in a month might try "fishing" with a magnet a little.

I have that same knife, and it is a nice one. Sorry for your loss. The steel handle combo is greta on that Leek. [inappropriate commercial content removed by moderator.]

what knife are you looing for?? I will see if I have it in stock and I will try give it to you at my cost just to try to help you out. I will not go out and buy it but if I have it from the old stok that I am just trying to get rid of I will give you my cost on it.

I lost my Leek over the winter. Found it 4 weeks later when the snow had melted enough to form a puddle of water where it been run over several times by the mail truck. Luckily a little clean and an oil and it was back in working order, no worse for wear. I hate it when I loose that knife. My wife lost her Leek out in a store. She now stores her new one in her handbag when she wears silky type trousers.

Oh.
I didn't realize that it was a busy highway you were on.
I just hope that whoever does find it will keep it and take care of it.
