Dang it! Which Back Pocket to get?

I've been eyeballing the Case Back Pockets forever but can never seem to pick one out. Is there anything to watch out for or a seemingly preferred model? So far, these 2 have especially caught my eye. Of course there is the clip vs the skinner.. I do prefer the oval shield if given a choice.. I see the OA length listed but can someone tell me the blade length?
Thanks
Steve

You can decide between CV or stainless, for one. I think they only make CV in yeller delrin or chestnut bone.

My clip point Chestnut Bone CV (the one in your first picture) measures exactly 3.5" from tip to bolster open. I don't have the other, and probably never will.

After having the SWJ in CV it sure is addicting. I carved a lot of wood with that knife and it was fantastic. I am leaning towards the point.
Thanks for the opinions.

Steve, the chestnut bone with CV should be an outstanding back pocket knife. My state won't let me carry it concealed in my back pocket though because of its size. Bummer, eh?

I believe the blade in the second knife of your post is the same blade as (or at least very similar to) the secondary blade in their Panama Trapper. You might want to think about that knife because it has both blade types. I hope I am not confusing the issue for you.

Have to agree, I've often found myself gazing at pics of the CV backpocket in chestnut bone, great-looking knife.

I'm a clip point kind of guy and the oval shield is much better looking.Just MHO.I'd get the top one.

I picked up the skinner version over the summer:

Great pattern, though I assume I'd get raised eyebrows outside of a Scouting event here ;)

The blade is pretty long. Why can't they offer the Gent in CV!!

I Understand the situation but fail to see the problem. Don't you have two back pockets?
Now tell the truth. Ain't carrying a leetle bit more weight around easiertahn making them pesky decisions?

Well, seeing as though my wallet is usually empty I reckon I could go without and stick another knife back there. :D
